Abstract |
Neurolymphomatosis (NL) is a rare disease characterized by the infiltration of the cranial nerves or peripheral nervous system by lymphoma cells. High suspicion with regard to the identification of the disease is important because the various presenting symptoms require a consideration of many differential diagnoses. In recent years, there has been increasing prevalence of the condition which is associated with the increasing use of fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography (FDG-PET) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in evaluating peripheral nervous system disorders. This paper presents a review of the literature about neurolymphomatosis. |
